During the second period of Friday’s Olympic hockey game between Sweden and Switzerland, the Swedes got away with a bad line change that left them with too many men on the ice. The gaff went unnoticed by referees, but it did not go unnoticed by professional “too many men on the ice” spotter analyst Pierre McGuire, who called out the penalty and then proceeded to laugh in maniacal disbelief. It was quite uncomfortable.
