Sky Sports Soccer Broadcasters Andy Gray and Richard Keys have taking a beating all week due to some extremely sexist remarks prior to a Liverpool and Wolverhampton earlier in the week.
Today, some video surfaced of Richard Keys on the Sky Sports set, that doesn’t help. I’m most impressed because I thought the term “to smash” was a US term, didn’t know old British guys used it too.
From the YouTube description:
In this video Richard Keys speaks offensively about a former girlfriend of Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp. It was filmed at Stamford Bridge.
Someone off camera mentioned a girl and Keys says to Redknapp: “Did you smash it?”
Redknapp replies: “I used to go out with her.”
Looking pleased with himself, Keys then adds: “Mind you, that is a stupid question, if you were anywhere near it.
“You definitely smashed it.
“You could go round there any night and found Redknapp hanging out of the back of it.”
During the comments, Gullit stays looking at his phone, whilst Sounness motioned to kick Keys. Redknapp laughs nervously.
The footage was not aired on TV, and the group appear to be warming up before the show goes out live.
