That’s Miro Blatak, a defenseman on the KHL’s Omsk Avangard, making an unbelievable glove save in a recent game against HC Ugra.
With his team trailing 2-1 in the final minute and the goalie gone to the bench for an extra skater, Blatak robs an Ugra player of an empty-netter and keeps his team within one as the clock winds down.
Unfortunately for Blatak, Omsk Avangard wasn’t able to score on the other end and still wound up with the loss…but we’ll remember this highlight long after we recall what the score of the game was.
