Jayru Campbell is a quarterback at Detroit Cass Tech. He’s already committed to Michigan State as a quarterback. This week, a violent video surfaced of Campbell slamming a school security guard after dismissal hours on school property. He’s been arrested and charged with assault and battery after confirmations that it is in fact him in the video.
We don’t have lots of context but we do know that the video shows a horrifying act. Campbell has had another issue that surfaced, – a video showing him getting into a fight with a rival player in the post game handshake line.
