A year ago, Richard Sherman took to Bourbon Street in New Orleans during Super Bowl week to ask NFL fans who the better shutdown corner is, Richard Sherman or Darrelle Revis.
At the time, not many fans even knew who Sherman was.
Fast forward to one year later and – given the events of this past weekend’s conference championship action – Sherman is one of the most recognizable faces in the NFL and will be on hand for Super Bowl week once again…except this time, he’ll be suiting up on Sunday.
The video above should not only serve to demonstrate how much can change within a year’s time, but also that Sherman isn’t exactly the horrible villain that he’s been made out to be in the past few days.
