As is tradition in the NBA, Martin Luther King Day featured a full slate of nationally televised games, including the rare non-Tuesday, non-Thursday TNT double-header. The nightcap featured the Indiana Pacers visiting the Golden State Warriors, after which the Inside The NBA crew went about presenting their standard, joke-laden highlight package. At one point, Charles Barkley weighed in on Klay Thompson’s shooting ability, repeating the phrase “that boy can stroke it”, before slipping in a line about wanting to take Klay to Target.
It took a moment for the joke to register with the crew (not going to lie, it took me a second as well), but it’s a pretty solid dig at Kellen Winslow, who was arrested recently in a Target parking lot, and alleged to have been masturbating in his car. Winslow claims he was just changing his clothes.
