After making a great play to tip a Colin Kaepernick pass in the endzone that resulted in a game-sealing interception for Seattle, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman gave a heated interview to Erin Andrews (who seemed horrified) immediately following the game.
In the interview, Sherman praises himself as the best cornerback in the game before calling the 49ers wideout Michael Crabtree “a sorry receiver.” After the game-ending pick, Sherman and Crabtree got into a heated exchange that landed them both with unsportsmanlike penalties. Sherman taunted Crabtree by tapping him on the backside and the receiver responded by shoving him in the face.
You can watch the extremely explosive interview at the top of the post. This is approximately the moment at which Andrews realized she would rather be ANYWHERE in the world…
To EA’s credit, she handled it like a pro.
