I’ll leave the obvious jokes to the knuckle draggers and focus on the fact each of these ladies seemed to at least know something about players who have been denied access to the Hall of Fame and/or pitched for the Boston Red Sox. Hell, I’ll even give partial credit to the woman who dropped Curt Schilling’s name, because he at least played for the Red Sox in this century. Unfortunately, Jeopardy is an all-or-nothing game, and neither Schilling, Mark McGwire nor Pete Rose won 354 games in the majors, so, um, WRONG!
But they all have one thing in common with the real answer (Roger Clemens): none are getting into the Hall of Fame anytime soon — if ever.
