As part of the BBC’s Human Planet they filmed a Bajau fisherman named Sulbin doing a free dive to catch fish twenty meters underwater. This guy is absolutely unreal as he strolls around on the ocean floor like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Sulbin goes a full two and a half minutes without a breath (if just reading that doesn’t impress you hold your breath the whole time he’s underwater and let me know if you don’t pass out):
Not going to lie, I expected him to bag a shark. Seeing the size of the fish he snagged for that j kind of effort makes me feel awfully lucky to have a 24-hour Safeway down the street.
