Scott Hartnell had a chance to bang home a loose puck into a wide open net during Wednesday’s Flyers-Canadiens game in Philly, but the Philadelphia forward wound up netting himself a hilarious blooper instead.
Hartnell couldn’t manage to get his stick on the puck before getting spun around, losing his footing and crashing to the ice in hilarious fashion. Fortunately for Hartsy, the Flyers managed to still come away with a 3-1 win.
Regardless, something tells me his teammates won’t be letting him off the hook that easy.
Update: Upon further review, Tomas Plekanec DID make a nice play on the puck to clear it out of the crease. Still, it doesn’t really make Hartnell’s fail any less amusing.
