A high stick from Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller sent the helmet of David Jones into the TD Garden crowd during the third period of last night’s game in Boston. The headgear landed in the lap of a Bruins fan, who couldn’t resist the urge to put the sweaty helmet on his own dome and pose for a few pictures before it was confiscated from him.
It’s not quite as great as the drunk Blackhawks fan who took Adam Pardy’s helmet by force but, from the looks of things, the Bruins fan quite enjoyed his short-lived souvenir.
