Brandon Prust and Cam Jansen have a bit of a history on the ice. Another chapter was written into that history last night during the Devils-Canadiens matchup in New Jersey, when Prust and Jansen dropped the gloves less than three minutes into the game.
It was a solid, fairly evenly matched bout but there’s no doubt that the best punch thrown came on an uppercut from Prust, who caught Jansen perfectly right under the chin. The super slo-mo GIF is a pretty clear indication that Jansen’s jaw is probably very sore today.
