Talk about adding insult to injury. Reading’s Danny Guthrie was down on the ground receiving treatment for an injury when his former Newcastle teammate Joey Barton paid him a visit. Barton of the Queens Park Rangers Football Club wasn’t so empathetic towards Guthrie’s injury as he threw a water bottle directly at his crotch. Barton followed that up by stepping on Guthrie’s family jewels and rubbing vigorously. Wrong balls Joey. I can’t imagine a more vicious act deserving of a red card.
