We’re pretty sure Jason Terry wasn’t a drama major in college, but whoever teaches drama at the University of Arizona would be proud of Terry’s acting job Wednesday night. The Sacramento Kings led the Brooklyn Nets 84-72 midway through the fourth quarter when Terry cemented his name into flopping lore by attempting to sell a Greivis Vásquez “elbow” to the face. It wasn’t so bad that he faked getting nailed by an elbow — it’s the fact he tried to sell the flop even further by going after Vásquez in retaliation.
Terry hasn’t received a flop warning yet this season, so we’ll see how the league responds — but such buffoonery should be enough to warrant a $5,000 fine, right?
