You have to be smarter than that, folks. Someone in the social media department at Home Depot may want to start looking for another job. Not surprisingly, the Tweet was deleted quite quickly. I am very sure that this was meant to be completely harmless, but sometimes social media folks need editors to get a second set of eyes on things.
Home Depot then went on an apology spree to anyone who was offended by saying: “We are deeply sorry for the dumb Tweet. We deleted it.” You can see more HERE.

We have zero tolerance for anything so stupid and offensive. Deeply sorry. We terminated agency and individual who posted it.
