With the departure of Breaking Bad and to a lesser extent Dexter, your television set is begging for a new drama to fill the void. Well HBO, who has been the most consistent channel at producing quality dramas delivers a promising new show, True Detective. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson star in this detective drama that is directed by Cary Fukunaga (“Sin Nombre,” “Jane Eyre”). True Detective spans over 17 years and features two Louisiana detectives crossing paths as they hunt for a serial killer. In only two trailers the drama has made it one of the most highly anticipated shows of 2014. True Detective debuts on January 12th.
