Zach Wilson finds himself in a pretty frustrating situation with the New York Jets as the team has made it quite clear they intend to trade him this offseason, but he has not yet been traded to a new team. As a result, it sounds like he will be skipping the team’s voluntary off-season program for the first time in his career.

According to a report from Richi Cimini ESPN, Zach Wilson has decided that he will not take part in the team’s voluntary workouts this offseason, which is a significant decision for the quarterback as he has been present at the voluntary workouts each of his first three offseasons in the NFL.

“In his first three seasons, Wilson was always an active participant in the offseason program, so his absence is out of character and seems to indicate a level of frustration. Of course, the landscape has changed, as the organization has publicly declared its willingness to move on from the former starter,” Cimini wrote for ESPN this week.

Obviously, this decision from Wilson led to a lot of reactions on social media.

We’ll have to see whether or not the Jets are able to find a trade partner for Wilson this offseason.
