Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Over the years, Taylor Swift has notorious for writing songs that make reference to her love interests in pretty clear ways, and that certainly was the case once again for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as he is referenced in at least two different songs on her new album The Tortured Poets Department.

The two songs that appear to be about Travis Kelce are “The Alchemy” and “So High School”

“The Alchemy” makes pretty clear reference to not only Kelce but the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl victory, particularly in the bridge of the song.

“Shirts off, and your friends lift you up, over their heads
Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said
‘There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league’
Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me”

“So High School” is more subtle, but still clearly about Kelce with lines like “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,” as well as “You knew what you wanted, and, boy, you got her,” which is clearly about Kelce’s pursuit of Swift that ultimately resulted in the relationship.

These references quickly led to a lot of reactions on social media.

These are likely the first of many songs about their relationship.
