It’s been a bit of a rocky offseason for the Cincinnati Bengals and star wide receiver Tee Higgins. The team decided to use their franchise tag to keep him on the roster for the 2024 season, but Higgins then requested a trade from the team just a few weeks later. However, it sounds like he is now prepared to play the upcoming season in Cincinnati.

During a recent interview, Tee Higgins was asked whether or not he expected to be a member of the Cincinnati Bengals roster this upcoming season, and he made it clear that he does anticipate staying in Cincinnati for the 2024 season.

“I do anticipate it,” Higgins said according to a video from Charlie Clifford of WXIX-TV. “I’ve grown a love for Cincinnati that I didn’t think I would. [I’m] looking forward to it.”

Obviously, this is a pretty significant statement from the Bengals star wide receiver, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

Obviously, a lot could change between now and the start of the 2024 NFL season, but as of now it sounds like Higgins plans to be playing for the Bengals in Cincinnati this upcoming season.
