Joe Biden and Donald Trump Joe Biden and Donald Trump

Former United States President Donald Trump is an avid golfer who often brags about his abilities on the golf course. But it sounds like sitting United States President Joe Biden would like to compete against him.

During a recent Democratic fundraiser in New York City hosted by late-night host Stephen Colbert, Colbert jokingly asked Joe Biden a question about Donald Trump’s golf game.

“Donald Trump, as far as we can tell, has just been trying to win a third championship at his own golf course. My question to you, sir. Can voters trust a presidential candidate who has not won a single Trump International Golf Club trophy? At long last. Sir, have you no chip-shot?”

Biden responded by suggesting he would be “happy to play” Trump in a round of golf. He claimed he’s actually offered the challenge to Trump in the past, and even offered to give him an advantage if he was willing to carry his own clubs.

“I told him once before when he came into the Oval [before Trump was sworn into office]. I said, ‘I’ll give you three strokes if you carry your own bag,’” Biden said, according to Huffington Post.

Obviously, these comments from Biden led to a lot of reactions on social media.

It would certainly be interesting to see the two presidential candidates compete against each other on the golf course.
