The Los Angeles Rams selected two-time National Champion Stetson Bennett in the 2023 NFL Draft with hopes of him making an impact. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen last year, which left them with a big decision heading into the 2024 offseason.

Bennett missed the entirety of the 2023-24 season on the non-football injury list due to an undisclosed reason. With this in mind, it was unclear whether Bennett would be returning to the team for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Very little has emerged in terms of actual information on whether Bennett will be returning. That is up until Monday when Rams GM Les Snead spoke on the matter at the NFL Annual Meeting.

According to Snead, Bennett will be participating in the Rams’ offseason workouts this spring.

Bennett is of course best known to football fans for helping lead the Georgia Bulldogs to back-to-back National Championship victories.

It is still of course unclear whether this collegiate resume will translate well to the NFL level. But it is at least nice to hear that Bennett appears to be over whatever personal matter held him out of the season last year.

Hopefully, Bennett will get the chance to prove himself as a backup option in Los Angeles. But this year, he will have much more competition for the No. 2 position, as the team did also bring in Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason to be the primary backup behind Matthew Stafford.
