The Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders, and New England Patriots hold the top three picks in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft and do not seem willing to consider trading those picks, but it sounds like the Arizona Cardinals would be willing to part ways with the No. 4 overall pick.

This week, Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort seemed to indicate that the team would be interested in potentially trading the No. 4 overall pick and revealed that there have already been teams calling asking about a possible trade.

“I’d say those phone calls are starting to pick up a little bit. I would say they’ll probably continue into next week when we go down to Florida for the owners’ meetings,” Ossenfort said. “I think most teams are in a similar spot to us, starting to finalize their boards, and the pro day pieces are the final on-field pieces for evaluation purposes. So I would imagine some of those conversations will continue to pick up, but honestly they probably will not get real serious until we get right up until the week of the draft, similar to last year. They have definitely picked up, but I would expect that to continue here for the next month.”

Obviously, this would be a significant trade in the NFL Draft, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media.

We’ll have to see whether or not this trade happens and which team makes the move for it.
