Taylor Swift Sandy Hooper-USA TODAY

Over the past few months, Taylor Swift created a bunch of Kansas City Chiefs fans out of her massive fanbase after she began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. And as the 2024 NCAA Tournament begins, it sounds like there’s one team for that army of Swifties to throw their support behind.

Before March Madness begins, CBS Sports surveyed the head coach of each team in the field to ask their favorite band or musical artist. And BYU Cougars head coach Mark Pope was the only coach who named Taylor Swift as his favorite.

CBS Sports reports that Pope listed Swift “primarily because he says his daughters’ massive fandom has rubbed off on him and it’s now the music that brings him the most joy because it brings his girls the most joy.” But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a fan himself.

Pope was so knowledgeable about Swift and her music that he was even able to list his five favorite songs, and that list included a special version of one song and two deep cuts that she rarely performs live.

Here is his list:

  1. Cornelia Street
  2. New Year’s Day
  3. Karma
  4. All Too Well (10 Minute Version)
  5. Cruel Summer

Needless to say, it’s clear that Pope is a certified Swiftie, and he should have the support of all Swifties throughout the tournament.
