The New York Giants lost out on star running back Saquon Barkley this offseason, letting him walk straight to their division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency. And it seems like Barkley’s family, his daughter in particular, couldn’t be happier about her dad’s move.

Barkley experienced a ton of success individually in his six-year tenure in New York, reaching two Pro Bowls and consistently being the driving force of their offense.

However, on a team level, Barkley and the Giants failed to really do much of anything, with only one postseason appearance to speak of while Barkley was on the team.

On Wednesday, Barkley spoke about what the move to Philadelphia means for him and his family. This is where he told a hilarious story of how his daughter Jada hilariously roasted the Giants upon hearing that her dad would now be a Philadelphia Eagle.

“When I told her that we were gonna be going to Philly, she was kinda just like ‘Does that mean we are going to win now?’ I was like hopefully, hopefully that means that we’re going to win some more games.”

Naturally, fans had plenty to say about Jada’s brutal roast of her Dad’s former team.

Jada should indeed see her dad experience much more success in Philadelphia than she did throughout the last six years. The Eagles’ core on offense has largely remained the same with the exception of Jason Kelce’s retirement.

If they are able to patch up their offensive line after Kelce’s departure, this Eagles team should be ready to make another deep postseason run with Barkley in the mix out of the backfield.
