Joe Burrow Syndication: The Enquirer

Ever since the Cincinnati Bengals selected quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Bengals have been trying to build a strong offensive line in front of him to protect him. And it sounds like the Bengals are taking a big step toward doing that this week as they look to bring in one of the top available offensive tackles.

According to a report from league insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, veteran offensive tackle Trent Brown is visiting with the Cincinnati Bengals this week as he looks for his future team.

“Free-agent OT Trent Brown is scheduled to travel tonight to Cincinnati to meet Tuesday with the Bengals, who lost OT Jonah Williams in free agency to the Cardinals,” Schefter said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

This would obviously be a big step for the team as they try to put together a strong offensive line in front of Burrow next season, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media.

Brown is the top available offensive tackle on the market right now. We’ll have to see whether or not he ultimately chooses to sign with the Bengals.
