Former NFL star Antonio Brown has quickly become one of the most controversial figures in sports since his retirement, speaking his mind on whatever he pleases on social media. His latest target came on Monday, calling out beloved Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark for her appearance.

Ahead of the NCAA Tournament, West Virginia Women’s Basketball coach Mark Kellogg decided to call out Clark by name, painting a target on her ahead of their potential Round of 32 matchup with Iowa.

“Let’s send Caitlin Clark packing,” Kellogg told his team on Sunday.

Brown took notice of this post on the matter from Bleacher Report. And instead of commenting something that is related to Kellogg’s comments, he decided to take a dig at Clark’s appearance.

“Why you use this pic? #MelGibson,” tweeted Brown on Clark.

Comparing Clark’s appearance to Gibson, a 68-year-old actor is not only a pretty wild take, but it is obviously incredibly rude.

Clark could probably care less about Brown’s comments since this is truly only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the wild things that are often on Brown’s social media account.

However, Clark’s fans are far less happy about Brown’s callout, defending Clark while calling out Brown on social media.

Clark and Iowa will start their journey in the NCAA Tournament with a Round of 64 matchup against the winner of the play-in game between No. 16 seeds UT Martin and Holy Cross.

Meanwhile, Brown will be watching the event at home.
