The Cleveland Browns took a lot of criticism for their decision to trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson despite the more than 20 sexual misconduct allegations against him. And on Tuesday, the Browns took even more criticism for signing yet another quarterback who has been accused of sexual crimes.

On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns decided to sign veteran quarterback Jameis Winston to serve as the backup quarterback for starter Deshaun Watsons. But Winston himself has been accused of sexual crimes, as well.

During his time with the Florida State Seminoles in college, Jameis Winston was accused of sexual assault back in 2013. Winston was never charged in the incident, however, as State Attorney Willie Meggs did not find enough evidence to move forward with charges against the quarterback.

Winston was also suspended by the NFL for the first three games of the 2018 season for groping an Uber driver as the league found that Winston “violated the Personal Conduct Policy by touching the driver in an inappropriate and sexual manner without her consent.”

Given that the Browns previously signed Winston despite all of the sexual misconduct allegations against him, people were not happy to see the Browns add another player accused of inappropriate sexual behavior.

It’s certainly not a good look for the Browns.
