Travis Kelce Travis Kelce

During the second quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs turned the ball over in the red zone after a fumble from running back Isaiah Pacheco. And the situation left Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce quite frustrated at his head coach.

Following the play, CBS broadcast cameras caught Travis Kelce screaming at Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid on the sideline, bumping into him and nearly knocking him over before running back Jerick McKinnon ran over to hold him back.

“Travis Kelce looked less than enthused,” the NFL on CBS official account said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Kelce was likely frustrated that Andy Reid pulled him out of the game on the play, believing that if he was in the game he would have been able to hold his block, thus preventing the costly fumble in the red zone.

This is certainly not the first time that Kelce has shown an emotional outburst on the sideline as he has become well known for being extremely competitive. Those feelings are likely heightened in such a high-profile game like the Super Bowl.
