During their time together with the New England Patriots, Tom Bady and Bill Belichick won a staggering six Super Bowl championships. But after parting ways with the team this offseason, Belichick did not find another job in the NFL, meaning he will be joining Brady outside of the league next season. And that’s quite a surprise for the legendary quarterback.

It’s obviously a pretty brutal turn of events for Bill Belichick as he did not get another head coaching position after mutually parting ways with the New England Patriots following the season. And during the latest episode of his Let’s Go! podcast, Tom Brady expressed his surprise that Belichick did not get another job, calling him “the greatest coach ever.”

“I don’t know the criteria for hiring coaches. I’ve never been a part of it, I mean, I’m surprised that the greatest coach ever doesn’t have a job, absolutely. But I’m surprised [by] a lot of things in the NFL,” Brady said on the podcast according to ESPN.

Brady also pointed out that he’s been there before as many teams were not willing to sign him after he left the New England Patriots.

“When I was a free agent, there [were] a lot of teams that didn’t want me,” Brady said.

Obviously, these words led to a lot of reactions on social media.
