Tom Brady will go down as one of the greatest and most accomplished athletes to ever live, winning an unprecedented seven Super Bowl championships during his playing career. But that doesn’t make him immune to some blunders on the golf course, and he had a pretty brutal one this weekend.

This week, Tom Brady took part in AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am where he got the chance to show off his golf skills alongside his PGA Tour pro partner Keegan Bradley. But unfortunately for Brady, his opening tee at Pebble Tee during Friday’s second round did not exactly go well.

Brady cold-topped his tee shot, leaving the ball to barely dribble off the teeing ground. And he offered his reaction to the horrible failure later in the day.

“Driver was off the rack. Turns out they don’t do breakfast balls at Pebble,” Brady said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter. Brady also added a crying laughing emoji for effect.

It’s not often that we see such embarrassing and public failure from one of the greatest athletes of all time, but at least he was a good sport about it afterward.
