Over the weekend, the United States junior hockey team won gold at the World Junior Championships, defeating Sweden in the gold medal game. It was a joyous victory for the team, and they made it clear when they swelled with pride while loudly singing the national anthem during the medal ceremony.

This week, a video went viral showing the United States junior hockey team celebrating their Gold Medal victory by boisterously singing The Star Spangled Banner, which is the national anthem of the United States of America.

“The American players singing their national anthem together after winning Gold at the #WorldJuniors,” TSN said in a post on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter, where they shared the video.

The video quickly went absolutely viral on social media, collecting millions of views over the past few days.

“Who says today’s kids? Don’t love our country. Wow what a great display of pride. Well done boys,” legendary Team USA captain Mike Eruzione said in a post on social media.

“Amazing moment to see!!” former United States Women’s National Team captain Carli Lloyd said in a post.

And several fans were saying the same thing.
