Over the weekend, former United States President Donald Trump made a special appearance at the Palmetto Bowl rivalry showdown between the Clemson Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. But when he took the field to be introduced to the crowd at halftime, he didn’t exactly get a warm welcome from the Clemson Tigers marching band.

As Donald Trump made his way onto the field to receive an ovation from the crowd, he was hit with a pretty brutal response from the Clemson marching band.

In a video shared on social media by Olivia Rinaldi of CBS News, several members of the marching band could be heard loudly showering Trump in a chorus of boos with a few even giving the former president thumbs-down gestures as he waved to the sold-out crowd.

One Clemson band member went as far as to mock the former president for his severe legal troubles, screaming “Have fun in prison!” at Trump. This is, of course, a reference to the 91 felony counts the former president is facing in four different states stemming from his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election.

Trump may have gotten an ovation from the crowd, but it’s safe to say not everyone was happy to see him there – and they let him know about it.
