Whenever Taylor Swift is in attendance for a Kansas City Chiefs game, her boyfriend Travis Kelce seems to have a very good game.

Since the pop star stopped attending Chiefs games in the last few weeks, Kelce’s stats and the Chiefs’ success have both started to falter.

The NFL world and Swifties are starting to notice.

When Swift first attended the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears in September, Kelce finished with 69 yards and a touchdown. When she returned to watch Kelce and KC take on the New York Jets, Kelce had six catches for 60 yards, a 10 YPC average. Taylor showed up for Kansas City’s games against the Denver Broncos as well and the tight end garnered 124 receiving yards on nine receptions.

Since then, Swift hasn’t shown up for any games and things have started to taper off. Kelce had a huge game against the Los Angeles Chargers, with 179 yards and a touchdown. After that, however, Kelce had 58 yards and no scores in a shocking loss to the Broncos. And this past weekend, Kelce had his worst game of the season, with three catches for 14 yards in a close win over the Miami Dolphins.

The situation has a lot of Chiefs fans wondering if Swift will make a return in order to give Travis and the Chiefs a boost next weekend. In the meantime, this trend of Kelce playing poorly when Swift isn’t in attendance has caught the attention of the NFL world.
