It’s safe to say that the 2023 NFL season has not quite gone the way the Denver Broncos would have expected under new head coach Sean Payton as the team has won just one game so far this season. And it sounds like the team is already doing some restructuring as a result.

On Thursday afternoon, NFL insider Matt Lombardo of Fan Buzz reported that the Denver Broncos are expected to trade star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy before the Oct. 31 trade deadline.

“NEW: Multiple league sources tell me they expect the #Broncos to trade Jerry Jeudy prior to the deadline, with one NFC Executive saying they have already had ‘internal discussions’ about a possible deal,” Lombardo wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

This news, coupled with the reports that the team is preparing to move on from veteran pass rusher Frank Clark, indicates that the Broncos are in the process of tearing down the team for what looks like a rebuild, and this led to a lot of reactions on social media as a result.

We’ll have to see whether or not the Broncos are able to find a trade partner for Jeudy and where he ultimately lands.
