  1. The Oakland Raiders contract standoff with Khalil Mack ended on Saturday morning after the team dealt the defensive end to the Chicago Bears in exchange for two first-round picks.

After Oakland dealt the three-time Pro Bowler, Raiders teammates tweeted their shock at the 27-year-old going to Chicago. Teammate Derek Carr couldn’t believe it.

While getting two first-round picks isn’t necessarily the worst haul ever, dealing Mack just before the season begins in exchange for non-roster players doesn’t help Oakland now. If I’m a Raiders player, it’s hard not to think the team got worse today – even if the move is a long-term play.

Fun time in Raiders nation, folks!
