Former rushing yard champ Chris Johnson was arrested back in April for allegedly choking a valet outside a Florida nightclub and now video’s been released of the incident.

TMZ Sports obtained the surveillance video of the 32-year-old running back. It’s grainy, but you can see the valet and Johnson chatting before a crowd emerges.

That valet’s attorney, Matt Powell, told TMZ that Johnson got upset after asking his client to prove a Porsche was his. Powell’s client admitted he “thought I was going to die,” and appeared bloodied up after the incident occurred.

Johnson appeared in eight NFL games over the past two seasons. He hasn’t announced his retirement but the unsigned free agent is likely done with football. Regardless of guilt, incidents like this one won’t help him return to the league. Johnson faces misdemeanor battery charges and if convicted he’ll face up to a year in prison.
