Interactions between fans and athletes can be volatile but they don’t have to be. Adult fans are usually the worst perpetrators due to their entitlement. Kid fans are just happy to be there and hope to see their favorite players. Whenever they get spurned, it feels like a betrayal.

It is what makes this viral clip of Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry ignoring this little kid, very, very funny while also being very, very cruel.

The original video comes from Facebook and it details how the only thing the kid wanted was a Steph Curry autograph. It is easy to see why it went viral when it really tugs at the heartstrings.

One person though was not having it and it was Steph’s wife, Ayesha Curry. She took to Twitter to make sure that everyone knew what was up and wanted to set the record straight.

After watching the clip it is tough to take a side on this one. It plainly looks like Curry looked at the little boy. Then again, these players go through these situations often. This could’ve just slipped through the cracks.

It all could be solved at a moments notice by taking the kid back to the locker room. Do the right thing!
