It has been two long decades since the Nordiques fled Quebec City for the Rocky Mountains, taking with them a playoff team that boasted intriguing young talent. Although it’s far from a done deal, especially considering the projected $500 million expansion price tag, it appears we’re getting closer to seeing two new teams: Quebec City and Las Vegas.
We’ve used Quebec as the geographical name and started with an old friend that, like Winnipeg’s hockey rebirth in 2011, everyone would love to see:
