On Sunday, TMZ Sports posted a video where Grizzles forward and walking flagrant foul Matt Barnes teased that he and Rihanna may be more than friends, stating specifically that the two of them “may be past the crush stage.”
TMZ even stated that they were able to secure some sources that indicated that the two had been on two dates “fairly recently” as well.
However, Matt Barnes and TMZ’s sources soon faced one huge problem with their story of romance between Matt Barnes and Rihanna. The problem?
Rihanna.
The pop star took to Instagram soon after TMZ published its story and she utterly decimated the account and Barnes with increasingly hilarious hashtags.
Looking through her caption, it’s hard to pick a favorite hashtag, although it has to be between #bishwhere and #shesneverevenmetyou.
Let this be a lesson to every celebrity/athlete out there. Don’t mess with Rihanna. Her Instagram handle isn’t @badgalriri for nothing.
