If you were ever wondering who held the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) hour world record it was Alex Dowsett who biked a ridiculous 32.89 miles in a hour, but that record no longer stands.

The latest to break the world record is Sir Bradley Wiggins of the United Kingdom who has broken the hour record by cycling a distance of 33.88 miles. The 2012 Tour de France winner broke the record on Sunday Lee Valley VeloPark in London and summed it up perfectly when he was done by telling reporters: “I’m just glad it’s done. It was torturous.”

aaa
