“Entourage” creator Doug Ellin really, really doesn’t like Eli Manning despite the fact that he’s a Giants fan.

In a recent interview with Graham Bensinger, Ellin recalled the incident that turned him against the younger Manning brother. Apparently, Eli personally called Ellin to express interest in being on the show. Ellin jumped at the opportunity and wrote a script specifically revolving around Eli. Ellin then tried to get in touch with the Giants quarterback multiple times to work out his cameo but never heard back from him. Eventually, Manning’s agent got back to the show and informed them that Eli wanted to focus on football instead.

In the end, the show was able to get Tom Brady so one could say that things worked out for both parties.

Nevertheless, with the “Entourage” movie less than a week from release, Ellin still hasn’t let his grudge with Eli go. In his interview with Bensinger, Ellin was very clear when it came to who he’d rather have under center than Eli Manning.

“I love the Giants so much,” Ellin told Graham Bensinger in a recent interview, “but if (Seahawks star) Russell Wilson was the quarterback of the Giants, I would be a much happier person.”

Wilson, of course, will be making a cameo in the “Entourage” movie which seems to be the best way to get on Ellin’s good side.
