It is the rare night where LeBron James isn’t the only royalty* in the house but that was the case on Monday night, when the Brooklyn Nets played the Cleveland Cavaliers in New York.
Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton were in attendance for the game. And as if that wasn’t notable enough, the couple was seated next to Dikembe Mutombo. The wonderful cosmic confluence led to this moment, forever validating the existence of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Brooklyn Nets, the NBA and the universe as we know it.

History is now complete.
*I am so sorry for that pun.
