The key to any successful onside kick is a perfect kick, a lucky bounce (or two), and some sure hands on the part of your coverage team. Friday night, Hebron High School (Carrollton, Tex.) needed only the first component to execute one against Allen High, by gathering ten players into the huddle and sending one player wide. Way wide. Thanks to a perfect kick — and we do mean perfect — the receiver caught it in stride along the sideline. Unfortunately, the trick play was pretty much the only highlight for Hebron, as they eventually lost 44-10 to undefeated Allen.
