South Park just dropped some teasers for their 18th season, which premieres this week, and the first episode looks like it will take on the Washington Redskins’ name controversy. As with most South Park episodes – especially those dealing with controversial issues – you can expect the envelope to be pushed.

In fact, it was already pushed (kind of) when the above ad aired during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Redskins-Eagles game.

Judging from this short sneak peek, it appears that we’ll see Dan Snyder and Robert Griffin III fighting Cartman over his use of the team name after the trademark was pulled this summer. Snyder & Co. say that Cartman using the name is “offensive” and “derogatory” to the football team, so I think it’s safe to assume that the irony will be strong with this premiere.

Season 18 of South Park premieres this Wednesday at 10 EST on Comedy Central.
