USC cornerback Josh Shaw has gone from hero to potential goat in less than 24 hours. After reports surfaced on Monday that the senior jumped from a second story balcony to save his drowning nephew, Shaw was anointed a selfless savior that may have sacrificed a portion of his final season due to ankle injuries suffered in the fall.
However, his story is being refuted by multiple sources:

While nothing has been confirmed and Shaw should not yet be ridiculed for his story, this does not smell good for the future NFL draft pick. Please reserve your judgment of him until all the details have been confirmed.
