30 years is a long time and a lot can change in those years. For example, my massive CD collection has now become about as valuable as laser discs. Except for my autographed Lit CD, of course!
Thanks to the folks at Digital Music News, we now have a GIF showing just how much change has occurred in the past three decades. CDs seem to be going the way of cassette tapes and vinyl, even though vinyl has seen a 40% increase in sales in just the past year.
