It’s not that Chad Henne played poorly, it’s just that we already know how good Chad Henne is. At best, he’s probably a league-average quarterback.

Blake Bortles, on the other hand, has the potential to be the Jaguars’ franchise guy. He’s playing pretty well tonight.

Still, at halftime, Adam Schefter was adamant that “in a perfect world” for the Jaguars, Bortles will sit on the bench all season. I’m not saying that Bortles should be starting week 1, but, what I am saying is that it would be kind of nice to see Bortles with the first-team offense in the Jaguars’ third preseason game. Maybe I’m just a radical, though.
