The Arena Football League’s Orlando Predators have a bit of a PR fiasco on their hands this week. The team’s website, www.orlandopredators.com, has been redirecting visitors to a very different, non-football site:

As of Friday morning, the site was still redirecting visitors to The Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s site for Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators. On a very positive note, this should bring many eyeballs in the state of to the names and faces listed under the wanted section of the site.

What would happen if the world’s largest websites redirected to similar sites for one day each year in an effort to seek out predators and other fugitives?

Because the team was recently sold and is still transitioning to new ownership, from David Pearsall to Westgate Resorts CEO David Siegel, it is unclear how the mistake happened.
