7. Christopher Walken will be Captain Hook in a Peter Pan special [Hollywood Reporter]
If the prospect of Christopher Walken dressing up as a pirate while singing and dancing doesn’t warm your heart, you may already be dead. NBC cast Walken as Peter Pan’s nemesis for a network musical special. NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt hinted at what can be expected out of Walken: “He might really just be a song and dance man at heart. … This might be the first tap dancing Captain Hook you’ve ever seen.”
