It’s not a huge secret that Robin Thicke’s latest album Paula has not fared well from a sales standpoint. Maybe people are still getting over their ‘Blurred Lines’ hangover. Maybe people are a bit uncomfortable with how Thicke has seemingly used the album’s promotional campaign as a way to pressure his ex, Paula Patton, to get back together with him.

“Since Thicke and Paula Patton announced their separation in February, the Blurred Lines singer has been knocking on every media outlet door, spreading the word of the album he wrote just for her.”

Whatever the case may be, the album has flopped big time. It managed to place ninth on the charts in the United States with 24,000 units moved. It did much worse in the UK where Paula sold 530 albums in it’s first week. And somehow, the album has done even worse in Australia.

How bad? The album failed to make it onto Australia’s national Aria 500 Chart. The 500th place album, a Blondie compilation, sold 54 copies which means that Robin Thicke’s new album sold 53 copies at best.

Next time, don’t be so creepy Robin.
